I only just saw this! Sugar doesn't sneak into my diet, but I have perhaps half a dozen times picked up a sweet. Mostly after my mother died I was acting out with food.

I am sure you know that alcohol metabolizes like sugar, so I have to be very careful about vino!

Joan, No wonder you look so great! I didn't realize you made the break so LONG ago. Congrats! It's taken me forever to get here. I'm curious, have you ever had a relapse and had some sugar sneak into your diet in the last 25 years?

I stopped eating refined sugar in '84 and went back to eating real food. White flour, in fact most flour products came out of my diet in 1992.

Real, nutritious food and proper sleep and daily exercise are the building blocks of my foundation!

I haven't had real Cheetos in years, but I often bought the Cheetos at Whole Foods. I had convinced myself that they were "healthy" Cheetos. But alas, they were not. Little Bear brand "Lite Cheddar Puffs". Since I'm not eating processed foods any more, they are officially off the list.
